Young children grow quickly and develop skills at different rates. If they cannot do something this week, they may be able to do it a few weeks later. While there is no perfect formula that determines when your preschooler is truly ready for kindergarten, you can use these helpful checklist to guide you as you help prepare your child for school. It is best to look at these skills as goals towards which to aim. Check the skills that your child has mastered then recheck every month to see what additional skills your child has accomplished.
